Top Ten Bed and Breakfasts in the US

For those of you into bed and breakfasts, you might be interested in this list put out by bedandbreakfast.com of the "Top Ten Bed and Breakfasts Overall in the United States"

  • A Storybook Inn, Versailles, KY
  • High Pointe Inn, West Barnstable, MA
  • Inn at Harbour Ridge, Osage Beach, MO
  • Garden Gate Get-A-Way, Millersburg, OH
  • Sobotta Manor B&B, Mount Airy, NC
  • Terra Nova House, Grove City, PA
  • Bloomsbury Inn, Camden, SC
  • 15 Church Street: The Phillips-Yates-Snowden House, Charleston, SC
  • South Court Inn, Luray, VA
  • Woodstocker Inn, Woodstock, VT
I think staying at a B&B can be fun for people who are a little more sociable, as you often have breakfast with the other guests, and the proprietors are more visible than at other types of lodging. Anyway, you might want to give one (or more) of the above a try. If you do, drop us a line and tell us how it was.

Cape Cod is a really wonderful destination to try out the Bed and Breakfast type of lodging, high end hospitality. Each town has its own charm. We are in Brewster (Brewster By The Sea) and work closely with 16 other inns located along the old Historic Highway 6A from Sandwich to Brewster. Check out historicCapeCodBay.com.

There are approximately 210 B&B's on the cape. In March we are putting on a 3 day 2 night murder mystery. The first one, over Halloween, was a tremendous success.

At any rate, congratulations to all the top ten winners.
