Top 10 Most Romantic Destinations
Gayot.com has come out with their list of "Top 10 Romantic Destinations" and they are:
California Wine Country - California
Savannah - Georgia
Maui - Hawaii
Lake District - Argentina
Dubrovnik - Croatia
Provence - France
Italian Lake District - Italy
Fuji Five Lakes Region - Japan
Faafu Atoll - The Maldives
Milford Sound, South Island - New Zealand
Of course, some of these destinations are a little broad. FYI, there are many California Wine Country areas spread throughout California. My favorite is Sonoma County and Santa Ynez Valley.
But, take a look at the list and see if any of these top 10 romantic destinations appeal to you. Then, get on the stick and arrange a romantic getaway. No matter if you've been in a relationship for one year or 50 years, any time's a good time for a romantic getaway. Oh, and we have some more "Most Romantic Destination Lists" for you on our Most Romantic Destinations page on our website: most romantic destinations.
Now, I know this is Super Duper Tuesday, but Valentine's Day is just around the corner. You have made your Valentine's Day plans, haven't you? Remember, they don't have to be elaborate; you don't even have to leave your hometown to find romance. You don't even have to go out of your house to create a romantic atmosphere. Some nice wine or champagne, flowers, candles, fire in the fireplace and a romantic movie can really help set the mood.
While we're on the topic of romantic movies, I'll have to say that some of the more contemporary romantic comedies aren't all that funny. That's why I like some of the classic romantic comedies like "His Girl Friday" with Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell. It's a romantic comedy that even a guy would like. If you've never seen it, rent or buy it.
