Hotel TV Remotes: Pass the Lysol
Hey, while you're packing for your favorite vacation spot, don't forget to toss in a pack of germicidal wipes for your hotel room.
Did you know that hotel remotes are teeming with germs and other disgusting things? Well, they are. In fact, they come up #12 in a list of the germiest places in an issue of Health magazine.
The article suggests that you clean the remote with the wipes before using it. And, while you're at it, the article adds, you might also want to clean the phone, clock radio, door handles and light switches. And, be sure to wear slippers and throw off the bedspread.
I'm not going to tell you why to wear slippers and throw off the bedspread; I think you probably can figure that out for yourselves.
Yeah, I know, makes you not want to travel. But, you have to travel, right? Just know that hotel rooms aren't germ-free, but that there are things you can do to help lessen the germs.
Having said that, have a good trip!
P.S.: don't use the glass glasses that are provided unless you wash them yourself.
